Most movies these days seem to also be accompanied by a release of the corresponding video game. While most gamers do not normally play these games, as typically, video games based on movies are normally not all that great. In some cases they are even a waste of the plastic the game is printed on. Alas, this is not the case with the newest release from Activision.

Activision continues to push out the games and excels in all most all projects it takes on. In their newest release, Ice Age™: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, Activision and Eurocom have combined to create a first in the Ice Age™ game series. In Ice Age™: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, the user is treated to the ability to play as more then one main character. Manny the mammoth, Sid the sloth, Diego the saber-toothed tiger, and Scrat are all playable characters in this adaptation of a film turned video game. Each character has their own set of moves and abilities that will have to be utilized to help further the story. Gamers also receive game play tips from the wacky possum duo, Crash and Eddie, and Ellie the mammoth. Voice over work has been carried over from the stars of the movie, so all voices are the voices of stars such as Dennis Leary or Ray Romano.
