When I searched for my uncle on the Internet under MSN, 295 results were returned to me.

As we all know, many of the searches on the Internet don't always return the actual information that we were searching for. However, in this case, the top listings were really about him.

Liviu Mancas, my uncle, is a professional tennis player. Before he defected from Romania and ran away from the evil communist bastards, unless I'm mistaken, he was actually ranked as Romania's 2nd best player right under Ilie Nastase.

While much of the information found on the Net was inconsistent, one of the accurate things was his ranking. In his prime, in the ATP circuit, Liviu was ranked as the 602nd singles player in the world and as 286 in doubles. Well, since Virtua Tennis 2009 claims to have great character customization, instead of making my virtual self or some imaginary character, for this review, I'm going to recreate my uncle. This is not the first time that I will play Virtua Tennis, but it will be the first time that I get to play it on the Xbox 360. My previous encounter with the game has been Virtua Tennis 3 for the PSP and I absolutely loved it.

The reason why I say 'loved it' is because I'm assuming that I'm going to abandon my PSP game for this brand new Xbox 360 version of it. If Virtua Tennis 2009 brings the same solid gameplay, entertainment and celebrities that I've witnessed in the much older version of the PSP game, then I'm in for a treat. I guess the only drawback is how you feel about tennis. If you hate the game, odds are that not even this game will make you change your mind, but if you are a tennis fan, this might just be the game for your. Sadly enough, I'm getting ahead of myself. I'm already expecting this game to be great but not only that, I'm assuming that my uncle will not have a problem with me using his name. I better give him a call and find out before I violate some copyrighted name infringement law; I don't want to get sued by my own family member. Anyhow... I'll see you on the other side of the court; 30 - love ... me!
