The first time I heard the name Vin Diesel I laughed; I misunderstood and thought that my friend said Van Diesel.

As it turns out, Van Diesel ... I mean Vin Diesel has had a flourishing career in the world of action movies. The Fast and the Furious, xXx, and the Riddick movies have labeled him as an international action superstar. But apparently Vin Diesel is not satisfied with just acting in movies.

Midway, Ubisoft and Vin Diesel have teamed up and came up with a action packed driving video game called Wheelman. Since Grand Theft Auto IV was released there have been several video game releases in the same genre: Saints Row II, The Godfather II and now Wheelman. The cars and the driving were rather terrible in both Saints Row II as well as The Godfather II so I'm hoping that a game called 'Wheelman' will be car and racing focused especially that on the back of the box it says "revolutionary car combat." Another reason why I'm excited about this game is because it takes place in Barcelona. Actually is not really Barcelona that I'm excited about. I'm just glad to get away from all the different versions of New York, Miami or LA. Now I've never been to Barcelona, but if it is anything like other European cities we should see a lot of curvy, narrow and bumpy streets. Watch out unsuspected pedestrians because this wheelman doesn't plan on doing much slowing down.
