I love music; listening to music that is. I know that I have absolutely no music talent whatsoever. I can't even sing in the shower... the tiles crack.
But I've enjoyed watching my friends play the Rock Band series for many years now. I can't remember how many times I would show at random friend's houses and found four people huddled around a TV trying their heart out to get the notes right just for some stars and some fans.
But, just as the fans in the video game, I found myself sitting on the couch and watching my friends play for hours. It really was not about the game, the button mashing or of the lack of sunshine that we were all suffering from, it was about the music; great music. Rock Band has always included some of the greatest rock songs ever created into their soundtracks. And now I find myself looking at the PSP version of Rock Band, Rock Band Unplugged. Here's ore chance to take Rock Band on the road. But will Rock Band on the PSP be the same success that it is on the consoles? Apparently, you have to play all four instruments at the same time. I have no clue how that's going to work or if my reflex time is anywhere close to being able to react fast enough. Let's face it, the PSP is not shaped like a guitar. But I have faith that Harmonix, MTV Games and EA were able to put together a hit. With over 40 songs to go and a 24 city tour to undertake, I better think of a band name fast because I'm ready to rock.
