Man oh man! I know I'm going to get some hate mail after reviewing this video game.

I mean, I'm about to review Dragonball Evolution and guess what...? I've never watched a single episode of the TV series.

Actually, about the only thing that I know about Dragonball is that originally it started out as an anime (unless I'm mistaken). For all I know it might have been an ancient dice game played by shoguns and ninjas 900 years ago.

But this is what I'm trying to tell you. I'm a newb to the series. Should you hate me or should you cut me some slack? I guess the way I'm gonna write this review will speak for itself. All I know is that I'm a gamer. Not only that, I'm a reviewer. I have to reach into the abyss and try out even the games that I'm not familiar with.

And most of the time, actually, that works out really well. Personally, I hate it when I have to review a sequel or a game from one of my favorite publishers. I'm only human and as we all know, humans get ideas stuck in their head really easily. This is why I'm looking forward to reviewing games that I've never heard about; that's why I'm looking forward to reviewing Dragonball Evolution. All I know is that it is based on the movie. Well, I did hear a rumor. Supposedly, the game does not only follow the movie storyline rather closely, but apparetly, it is also just as short as the film itself. Forty dollars for less than two hours seems unfair even if you are the greatest Dragonball fan, but as we all know, empires crumbled due to rumors. If you are familiar with Gamepyre, especially my writings, you know by now that every time I hear a rumor when it comes to a video game I have to put it to the test myself. I'm actually the only person that I know that was looking forward to the statistics chapters during math courses. Well, Dragonball Evolution, welcome to Vlad's test. I just hope that by the end of this review I finally know what a Dragon Ball actually is.
