Are you thinking what I'm thinking? Well, what I'm thinking is 'yeah, right; a flying game on the PSP. I just don't see how this is going to work right'.

As you can see, even someone like me who has to be unbiased when it comes to video games, could not help but take sides into the flying genre on the PSP. Air Conflicts - Aces of World War II is the 2nd flight game to be released on the PSP (that I am aware of).

I don't remember what the other game is called. I was not reviewing games on the PSP at the time of its release and with the mentality of 'there can't be a good flying game on a hand-held system' caused me to never look its way. But now, wanting or not wanting to, my job demands that I don't ignore any particular genres in my reviews so you can go as far as to say that I'm stuck playing Air Conflicts - Aces of World War II.

Now just because I would have never bought this game without being for my job requirements, don't think that I'm automatically going to trash talk this game and give it a poor review. Reviewing and criticizing is part of my job description, but I'm a gamer before all else and I'm never going to trash talk a game without merit just because I feel that it is time to give a game a low score. The only reason I don't take the PSP flying games seriously is because I have a joystick that's worth more than my PSP and the game combined; in another words, I look for realism in my flying games; something that a PSP just can't deliver. Since the realism is out of the question, the only question left unanswered is whether or not this game is any fun to actually play. Lets find out what Air Conflicts - Aces of World War II is all about.
