When you think about great shooters, PSP games don't usually come to mind; at least they don't to me.

I'm going on vacation for about ten days but since gaming is not just my job but also a hobby I decided to take some games for the road. Resistance Retribution happens to be one of them. Purchasing Sony's Resistance Retribution was not a coincidence. It didn't just happen to be a game that I stumbled across. I deliberately searched for it.

I drive a gas guzzler (don't make fun unless you want to buy me a new car) so when I go video game shopping, most of the time, call ahead before I waste my gas and time driving to a location. As I was looking online for new games to take with me on my trip I came across a comment by some person claiming that the only reason they re-bought a PSP was because of this game. Well, that was enough for me to decide and put that comment to the test. I guess, if you're rich enough you can justify just about any purchase, but let's see how this game does for the regular people... us. Sony did make a big splash with their baseball series, MLB The Show so maybe they will make a big splash with a great or at least a decent shooter for the PSP. This is going to be one of the longest pauses between writing an introduction and the rest of the review; see y'all in about ten days.
