"Back and back and back to the future again."
I don't know where that quote is from, I can't remember who said it and I can't remember the context that it was said under. All I know is that it is not an original quote from me so from an English-class perspective, I have to put it in quotes.
The more that I think about the quote the more that I want to say that it is the tile of a Farscape episode (you know, the Sci-Fi TV show from a few years back). But, please disregard everything you read so far; it has nothing to do with the game (maybe). March and April 09 are designated to two genres. Depending on your gaming preference you're either going to turn towards one (of several) of the many RPGs (role playing games) recently released, or you're going to end up embracing another WWII title.
March and April have seen and will see the release of an abundance of WWII games as well as RPGs. And SEGA will not fall behind. Phantasy Star Portable is the latest RPG release from SEGA on the PSP. But SEGA has some tough competition this month. SquareEnix is responsible for Star Ocean - The Last Hope as well as the soon to be released for the PC Last Remnant. Even THQ jumped in the role-playing game genre this month with the release of the superbly designed Drakensang - The Dark Eye. But Phantasy Star is not a new title. I remember playing Phantasy Star II over 15 years ago with one of my best friends and I remember Phantasy Star III, one of my all-time-favorite RGPs. Phantasy Star and me go back a long way but despite of my nostalgia, I will write the review for it in the most accurate manner.
