Depending on how long you have been a gamer, especially a gamer that enjoys military simulators, you may or may not remember Operation Flashpoint.

Operation Flashpoint, Operation Flashpoint Resistance and ARMA have kept Bohemia Interactive busy for nearly a decade. But here's where the situation gets a bit confusing; Codemasters owns the name Operation Flashpoint. When Bohemia Interactive and Codemasters went their separate ways, Codemasters ended up keeping the name, thus, the sequel to Op. Flashpoint was called ARMA.

If that wasn't confusing enough, in September (unless it is delayed again), Codemasters will release their version of the world's number one military simulator game, with the actual name Operation Flashpoint - Dragon Rising. So now the question that we must ask is what game is the real deal? Did Bohemia Interactive speed along their release of ARMA 2 just to grab a few extra sells before Op. Flashpoint 2 got released, or is it just a coincidence? I've played through ARMA and to me it looked like Op. Flashpoint with a few minor improvements and a brand new map. So now, I could not help it; I had to get ARMA 2 just to find out for myself what the game is all about. Let's find out together if this is a game worthy of your 50 bucks.
