Do cars in entertainment fascinate you? If they do then you might be familiar with movies such as the classic Death Race 2000 starring Sylvester Stallone, David Carradine and John Landis.

This true driving classic was remade recently, now titled only Death Race and the film's main stars are Jason Statham, Tyrese Gibson and Ian McShane. In either of the Death Race movies, the racer's goals are to win but winning is sometimes being the last driver left alive. With an assortment of weapons and tweaked out cars, the stars crash, shoot and pulverize each other. There can only be one winner.

I've always wanted to see a video game made on the premise of Death Race and now, I'm finally in luck. Sky Fallen Entertainment created a racing video game that resembles the Death Race movies greatly. The game is called Death Track Resurrection and if the information on the box is correct, it is exactly what I've been looking for. Fast cars, fast action, big explosions and miles and miles of track. If you have been following Gamepyre and my reviews closely then you probably realize that there is not a racing game that I'm willing to turn down without at least giving it a valid shot (yes, I did stumble across some disappointing racing game in the past). Is Death Track Resurrection just a cheap version of the Death Race movies or will the game have what it takes to make a name for itself? Let's find out together.
