Logitech is famous for its many varieties and types of PC peripherals, including keyboards, mice, speakers and many others products. Most of the time these folks make some pretty decent products and many people have flocked to the Logitech brand due to this factor. In the last month I have built a couple of HTPC and needed a wireless keyboard and mouse to control the computer from my place on the couch and on the coffee table.

I was not intending to spend a lot of money so I thought I would stick to an under $100 budget and the LX710 was on sale for $69.00 at MWAVE so I thought I would buy it and see if it would fulfill my need for a wireless combo that would not only be ergonomic, but efficient as well. The LX710 boasts a lot of features on paper and seems to qualify as an enthusiast based product for the masses. After switching off my PC, I simply plugged in the USB receiver and then began my adventures using the Logitech Cordless Desktop Keyboard/Mouse combination. This is the story of that adventure and what my final results of this test buy were.
