GIGABYTE 7900GT
Serious Sam II
I/O cable
Driver CD
2 DVI-I to D-Sub adapters
The software bundle on their 7900GT card is pretty recent. They include the
game Serious Sam II, the third game in the Serious Sam series. This game uses
Pixel Shaders, HDR and other advanced effects and shows off the power of the
7900GT to good effect. The other components of the bundle include a Driver CD,
the Input/Output cable and two DVI-I to D-Sub adapters for supporting monitors.

NVIDIA has released several drivers in the last few months. The introduction
of the 7900 series coincided with the release of the 84.21 Forceware drivers.
These drivers feature improved performance in The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. NVIDIA
releases new drivers with new products and when needed. ATI’s drivers
are released on a monthly basis, but they have their own retail cards to support
and NVIDIA does not.

Overclocking on the GIGABYTE 7900GT card was typical of 7900GT cards I’ve
tested. The card has a default clock speed of 450 MHz/1.32 GHz, but overclocked
the card was able to reach 559/784, a 109MHz core increase and a 124MHz memory
increase. The card was 100% stable at that clock speed in Oblivion. I was able
to play at the overclocked settings for hours on end without error.
