The Home Theater PC market is totally different in many respects from that of the regular home computer. Heat, space, HDMI output for a HDTV, small form factor, minimal noise, high storage capacities to store the videos on and a TV tuner are components typical of an average HTPC These considerations, while important to the average PC user as well, aren't necessarily paramount on the average PC owner's mind when buying a new computer or putting one together.

Thermaltake has been making Power Supply Units, Cases and other computer accessories very successfully for years. They have a few lines of HTPC cases called the DH (Digital Home), Mozart, Bach and LANBox case lines, and each has its own unique design concept. Earlier this year Thermaltake launched a new lineup of Home Theater PC cases, the Luxa2 line designed for luxury users. The core design theory of LUXA2 starts from simple shapes blending with luxury elements which create the unique lifestyle for different segments of the society. Today's LM100 Mini review will explore what that means. This is one really small unit and it should prove to be an interesting experience building this system.
