SteelSeries 7G Gaming Keyboard Review
Posted by THRASHER2 on Mar 18, 2010 at 12:37 pm (0) Comments
Today I'll be reviewing the SteelSeries 7G - a high end keyboard with a very high end price - around £100. To the average user, £100 for a keyboard seems excessive when you can get an 'el cheapo' one for £10 on the 'Bay, however, enthusiasts and hardcore gamers will know the difference between a £10 mouse and a £50 mouse - let's see if I can see such a distinction between the average budget keyboard I've become used to, and this gaming grade one I've been sent by SteelSeries.

"Today for review I’m looking at a game that isn’t going to be released until next year, sounds like a long way off but it isn’t really. January 5th is the release date of Divinity II: Ego Draconis for both PC and Xbox360 and I got the PC version a few weeks before that date so I could bring you a review or preview of it. I’ve got tons of screenshots for you along with a video as well from my time playing the game. Divinity II Ego Draconis will offer you hours and hours of play even if you just play it right through without doing any of the side quests. The graphics are beautiful, and game play is fun and exhilarating, especially as you fly around in your dragon form. So continue on to learn more… "

Army Of Two: The 40th Day Preview @ Gamingheaven
Posted by THRASHER2 on Dec 27, 2009 at 9:32 pm (0) Comments
Army Of Two was released last year to a mixed critical and public reception. You had to fight through the environments with two mercenaries - Salem and Rios, both hardass gunslinging warriors who reveled in blowing up everything and everyone in their path. The action was intense but many felt it was shortlived and that the cooperative experience could have been much better.

Seagate Barracuda XT 2TB SATA 6G HD Review
Posted by THRASHER2 on Mar 18, 2010 at 12:35 pm (0) Comments
Although Solid State Drives are all the rage lately, they comprise only a fraction of the overall desktop PC storage market. While SSDs are undeniably fast and enhance the overall user experience, they are also prohibitively expensive for many users and offer relatively low capacities. As such, traditional, spinning hard drives, with their huge capacities and low cost per gigabyte, still make up the lion's share of the market.

One of the more interesting hard drives to hit the scene recently is the Seagate Barracuda XT. Its 2TB capacity, 64MB of cache, and 7200 RPM spindle speed will automatically piqué the interest of many enthusiasts. But couple those features with the drive's support for SATA 6G and the story gets all the more interesting...

Puzzlegeddon (PC) Review @ Gamingheaven
Posted by THRASHER2 on Dec 27, 2009 at 9:29 pm (0) Comments
There are a huge variety of puzzle games available in 2009 and most of us have played at least a handful, such as Jewel Quest or 7 Wonders which all fit into the ‘match 3’ formula which proves so popular with the mass public. Pieces Interactive have a new title out called Puzzlegeddon which may be a fun game to play in the run up to the holidays ... as it costs only $10 it won’t break the bank either.
