Though once a stagnant marketplace, the world of power supplies – nay, performance power supplies is a bustling market for today’s enthusiasts. Though once, many generic units, what with their tiny heatsinks, beady capacitors and thin wires proved enough for our needs, the advent of things such as dual core processors, dual (or even quadruple!) video cards, and several gigabytes of ram – just to name a few things – have brought us to an era where clean, stable power matters more than ever. In that spirit, I came across today’s two units. Coming from a company still finding its roots, and sorting out a brand name, these two units are set to be what makes, or breaks their new lineups. So, without any further adieu, it’s time to slam these power supplies with everything the test bed’s got, then tear them open to see what makes them tick. Excited? I know I am.
