Though Ultra’s memory may have not shone through as the overclocker’s
darling, one thing was certain – there is a nice, versatile range of systems
that these modules will have no troubles fitting into, and considering how well
they played with a few different systems as we built up to this review (those
boards of course being 955X and C19 based), we’d have no qualms recommending
them to users with systems that need a boost, and don’t have extreme memory
requirements. While it may be true that Conroe and AM2 are just around the corner,
nobody quite knows what memory controllers those will bring, or what demands
they will make. What we can be sure of, is that these modules will easily last
you into that upgrade, and for some time after, as we don’t see an increase
in memory density happening for quite a ways into the future. That being said,
we know that a lifetime replacement warrantee (with subtle hints of upgrades
to your memory in the cards if your specific kit cannot be found), an easy to
reach support line, and fair pricing, these rugged modules will be sure to please.
