I ran the two CPUs through the standard battery of Motherboards.org tests to show performance. The benchmark setup is otherwise identical to the test systems we used in the 840 dual-core review and can be directly compared. One thing to note when comparing performance, the 820 is priced at $241, while the 840EE is priced nearer to $1000.
