Asus has always been one of the favorites of the hardcore enthusiast community with excellent overclocking potential on every one of their high-end boards, excellent performance and the features that matter most from each chipset. My main computer has almost always carried an Asus motherboard on it. In fact every one of the writers on this website has always listed Asus as one of their favorite companies and their boards as among the best of the breed and many find their ways into our home computers as well.

Intel has separated their motherboard chipsets into a mainstream chipset (the P35) and a high-end chipset (the X38). The P35 is the spiritual replacement for the 965P chipset that was the standard for Intel based motherboards just a couple of years ago. The P35 brings many new features including support for the 1333MHz FSB CPUs, DDR3 memory and more. Asus has launched many boards based upon the P35 chipset including the ASUS P5K3 Deluxe that I’m reviewing here. So without further ado, let’s see what this new board has to offer the market, and indubitably you.
