Make sure you have the open PCIe x1 port at least or you will end up replacing your motherboard with one that has the port available. The main card comes with a TV signal input for digital or analog cable signal as well as a FM radio input. The EHD3-100 Dual Hybrid TV Card also adds a S-Video port to the card for higher quality inputs from a video camera, digital cable box or even the older rarely heard of VCR. It also comes with a standard audio digital connector for high quality audio.

The EHD3-100 Dual Hybrid TV Card also comes with another extension card that connects using a 10 pin connector to the main card so the consumer can connect using standard component connection as well as another S-Video port. There is no RGB component connections in the package which some may draw issue with, but this reviewer had no problems with. This extensions card actually helps if you are connecting to multiple devices. It also includes an S-Video to composite adapter which comes in handy when connecting to some devices that only have an S-Video out and no component out.

The EHD3-100 Dual Hybrid TV Card does a great job at capturing Video from a cable set box or another DVR unit like a Tivo. In most cases this will allow a consumer to say good bye to the Tivo with limited storage availability and hello to more storage then you could need with the EHD3-100 Dual Hybrid TV Card and a computer. This card will even allow for fitting into low-profile chassis as it comes with removable brackets to allow for this installation.
