As you slide in my view, I don't pull the trigger. Not yet. I wait; I follow your character around. I find your friends and once again I wait.

And when I'm done waiting I press the trigger. You go down; then your friend; then your other friend. I put a cap in all your asses. Sometimes, you return the favor. I love smooth Internet play and this is exactly what you get with this card.

I used to be a great C-Strike player; used to... I blame my job on it. I don't have much time to play all my favorite games. I still get my kill-shots; my head-shots. But I'm a bit rusty. Well, the Linksys WMP300N Network card did not let me down. Actually, it made killing others really smooth and easy even despite my deteriorating skills.

Shooters require a smooth Internet connection; even a little bit of lag can cause you to shoot at empty air. I've seen people crying out that someone is cheating because they've shot them in the head and not only did the opponent not die, but the opponent actually killed them instead. When I hear someone complaining like that, the first thing I do is look at their ping. If their ping is high, the other person is not necessarily cheating. I don't see much lag using this adapter; most of the time anyhow. Some servers are just not that good, and, when that happens, I just chance servers until I find a smooth one. Overall, I did not have any unpleasant surprises from this Linksys card. Gaming wise, upgrading wise, downloads and even streaming movies over the net worked very smoothly. Honestly, I could not tell the difference between the wireless connection and the cable connection gaming wise or even on the download side of things. Gaming works as well as it's ever going to. And, if sniping people is not a problem, I can almost guarantee that puzzles, RTSs and even MMORPGs won't be a problem either (assuming that the servers are good).
