"The wind rises electric. She's soft and warm and almost weightless. Her perfume a sweet promise that brings tears to my eyes. I tell her that everything will be all right. That I'll save her from whatever she's scared of and take her far, far away. I tell her I love her. The silencer makes a whisper of the gunshot. I hold her close until she's gone. I'll never know what she was running from. I'll cash her check in the morning." - intro to Frank Miller's Sin City.

I'm not going to test the quality of the graphics on a brand new monitor with a show like South Park; the graphics are just not competitive enough there. Now Frank Miller's Sin City is definitely a movie to watch if you want to judge contrast and color. Most of the movie is filmed in black and white but in just about any scene there are items of importance in filmed in vivid colors. 300 looked incredible; the movement and battle scenes were perfectly smooth and flowing and even the blood particles look sharp as ever. Even the missiles and the smoke and fire in Battlestar Galactica look absolutely incredible. Watching movies on this Dell monitor looks as good as watching them on a high-definition television.
