There are fifty dollar video cards, and there are eight hundred dollars video cards. The ASUS EN8600GTS is only around $250 depending on where you do your shopping, but in my
opinion this card is worth every penny.
After using a 7 series video card for what seemed as forever, upgrading to the ASUS EN8600GTS card was a must need upgrade to my computer. Old games are fresh again, and the way
the new releases look, well lets just say that I hope my grades don't suffer too much this semester.
I really can't find anything negative to say about the card. Under DirectX 9 everything works amazing. DirectX 10 has some glitches, but that is new technology. It will take some
patches and driver updates to get it 100% right. Overall I have no regrets about updating to Vista in order to fully take advantage of this sweet card.
Now keep in mind that this is not top of the line, but a mid-ranged video card. If you expect it to perform on the same levels as your friend's $700 video card then you will be
disappointed. If on the other hand you're upgrading from a 6 or 7 series card then you'll absolutely love this card, especially for the price.
