As you can expect from someone who does PC game reviews, I'm not the biggest fan of the 2-D world. Never less, every computer uses gets stuck in the 2-D realm from time to time.

Now I'll be honest and admit that I haven't used any fancy 2-D programs to test this video card, but I did do the basics: used the Internet browser, type out this review, used the calculator, and played my all-time favorite 2-D game: solitaire.

As far as my needs are concerned, my expectations for the 2-D performance of the ASUS EN8600GTS video card are more then satisfactory. The true performance test of any gaming card is the 3-D testing.
