I strongly debated whether to use a lesser running system to run benchmarks on the 7300GT. The card is meant for the lower-end of the pricing spectrum, not meant to compete with the 7950 GX2 or the X1900XTX cards. The problem with that premise is you want to see where the bottleneck is. With the test system we use for video cards, I’m able to show the near maximum performance of the card, rather than become CPU limited.
