EVGA decided to take a  minimalist approach to the software bundle of the 7300GT. The drivers CD contains Forceware drivers which are 84.66. I would strongly suggest using the latest NVIDIA reference drivers as EVGA recommends them for their cards anyway. Also on the CD is ResChanger 2005. This is an EVGA application that changes the control panel launcher from NVIDIA’s to EVGA’s. One click is all you need to change  the resolution, the refresh rate, the color depths. You can also run DirectX Diagnostics, the Display Control Panel and Device manager from this application

Hardware-wise the 7300GT comes with a DVI-I to D-Sub adapter. One adapter is normally not sufficient for most users of modern video cards. The 7300GT only has one DVI output, and therefore two adapters would be redundant. A S-Video cable is included to play computer games on your TV as well as a HDTV cable to run computer games on your large-screen HDTV set.

EVGA support is second to none in the industry. The first tenet of their support is their Lifetime Warranty on all Retail products with the part number AR, AX, BR, BX, DR, DX, FR, FX, SG, SL or S2. Their 7300GT 512MB card has a 1+1 warranty, which means that you automatically get a one year warranty and when you register the card with EVGA you get an additional year. Many video card manufacturers only offer a single year (ATI, Chaintech, and Diamond Multimedia). Some offer Lifetime warranties (BFG, XFX) on all of their products. The second facet of their support is Toll-Free telephone support 24/7. If you have a problem with your EVGA video card, call their support department. The last aspect of their support is their Step-Up program. Within 90 days of purchase of an EVGA card, you can trade it in for full credit for the purchase price paid towards upgrading the video card to a newer one.
