The high-end bad boys in the standalone video card market, ($400+ MSRP cards) get the most press, but not everyone can afford to spend $400-500 on a video card. The other end of the spectrum, the integrated video on some motherboards, isn’t sufficient to run any of the more modern games at anything but the minimum settings and resolutions. So what’s the solution?

EVGA is one of my favorites as a video card manufacturer. They offer top notch support and excellent value for the purchasers of their cards. Today, EVGA is one of top retail video card manufacturers in the United States.. Their primary focus is on NVIDIA based video cards, but they have branched out into motherboards, video card cooling solutions and more.

NVIDIA announced their 7th generation of GeForce video cards last year in June. The 7800GTX and 7800GT cards were quite popular amongst the enthusiasts wanting the high-end. The mainstream market was covered by the 7600 series. The low-end was held by the 6200 series. On May of 2006, NVIDIA announced the 7300GT video cards replacing the 6200 series. Today I’m reviewing the e-GeForce 7300GT 512MB from EVGA, which is an entry level 3D solution.
