EVGA generally gives austere game bundles with the video cards they sell and the 7950 GX2 card is no exception to this rule. The card came with the Driver CD and a setup manual. Last year EVGA had a couple of game bundles, namely Call of Duty 2 and Battlefield 2, but there are no games included with the 7950 GX2. EVGA makes up for the lack of games with their support.

EVGA support is second to none in the industry. There are three important facets to their support, Toll-Free Technical support 24/7, a Lifetime Warranty on all Retail products, and they have a Step-Up program. Toll-Free Technical support means if you have a problem, they will work with you to attempt to fix it at any time of the day. The Lifetime Warranty means you don’t have to worry about material defects.

The Step-Up program is unique in the video card industry. One of the big problems with video cards today is the rapid pace of technology. Every 6-9 months a new NVIDIA or ATI card is released, meaning that a new card purchased today will be replaced tomorrow. Some companies like ATI provide a Trade-In program, giving a small amount of credit (up to $50) for a used video card. EVGA goes a step further, giving full credit for the previous card (based upon amount paid) within 90 days of the purchase.
