EVGA 7600GS video card
EVGA Driver installation CD with Trial Software
S-Video cable
HDTV cable
DVI-I to VGA adapter
EVGA chose a minimalist approach with their bundle for the 7600GS video card,
in-line with the target market the card is aimed at. The card is packaged in
an anti-static bag, surrounded by another bag. The other hardware include a
S-Video cable to attach to your TV, a HDTV cable to attach to your HDTV and
a DVI-I to VGA adapter to attach a second CRT to the computer.

The drivers on EVGA’s drivers CD are 83.91, dated 02/13/2006. NVIDIA
has released the Forceware 84.21 drivers to support the 7600GT and GS cards.
I would suggest using NVIDIA’s drivers as EVGA drivers are exactly the
same as NVIDIA’s reference drivers, and the 84.21 drivers contain a fix
for Oblivion, the latest greatest game.
EVGA includes a 30-day trial version of Ulead’s DVD MovieFactory software.
MovieFactory allows the user to make a DVD out of your videos, photos, music,
burn a Data DVD, capture videos from your video card to make a DVD, Edit the
Disc and Play DVDs from the MovieFactory menu. Adobe Acrobat Reader, and Beyond
Media make up the remainder of the software bundle.

EVGA support is second to none in the industry. All Retail video cards come
with a Lifetime Warranty. The 7600GS I’m reviewing here has a suffix of
TX, making it eligible for a 2 year Warranty with registration of the card,
one year without registration. EVGA also has Toll-Free Technical Support and
a Step-Up program. The Step-Up program allows you to purchase a new EVGA card
within 90 days of purchase of the previous one giving full credit for the price
paid.
