The first game I put the 6800GS CO Superclocked through the ringer was F.E.A.R..
F.E.A.R. was one of the best FPS (First Person Shooters) of 2005. It’s
scary as hell as well, with the little girl scaring the hell out of me the first
time I played the game. The 6800GS CO Superclocked played the game better than
a 6800 Ultra reference card from NVIDIA with performance sufficient for my uses.
Call of Duty 2 was released last year by Activision to much acclaim. You take
the role of a soldier in the Russian, British or American armies. The game takes
the player many hours in Single Player mode. You can also play against your
friends online in Deathmatch or Capture the Flag. The 6800GS SuperClocked played
the game with great ease and two of them played the game with AA and AF.
One of my favorite games of yesteryear was Star Trek: Armada. This game had
the player build a great space fleet out of natural resources to try and destroy
the Borg. One of the upcoming games, Star Wars: Empire At War looks similar
in many ways. The space battle is a 3D battle with Star Destroyers, TIE Fighters,
Nebulon-B frigates, X-Wings and more. The game uses 3D graphics to depict space
battles and ground battles. The 6800GS CO Superclocked played the game demo
without difficulty.
Lord of The Rings is probably my favorite book series and the movies based
upon the book are excellent translations. Lord of the Rings Battle for Middle
Earth 2 is the sequel to one of the most fun games of 2005. I love RTS games
and this one has you control either the Dwarves or Goblins in the demo. The
demo played flawlessly on the 6800GS CO Superclocked and even better with two
of them.
