EVGA decided to include the minimal software bundle possible for their card.
Not including a games bundle lowers the cost of the card to the manufacturer,
but I prefer the companies to include a game to try out the new card on. I long
for the days when companies like 3DFX built a new card with 10 or more games
and demos that take advantage of the advanced features of the card they come
with.

The hardware bundle is also sparse by most standards but sufficient to get
started. The single DVI-I to D-Sub adapter works with the DVI-I port to allow
dual CRT monitors to work. The TV-Out cable attaches to your TV to allow you
to play PC games on your TV. One thing that’s cool about EVGA is they
include EVGA stickers to put on your PC case.

The most impressive thing about EVGA video cards is their support. The EVGA
Step-Up program is unique in the industry. After purchasing a video card from
EVGA, you can within 90 days of the invoice Step Up to another card, getting
full credit for the price you paid for the card you’re Stepping Up from.
For example, you want a GeForce 7800 GTX 256MB today and purchased a 6800GS
CO Superclocked for $229 89 days ago. EVGA will give you credit towards that
7800GTX 256MB of $229 and you pay the price difference. EVGA also offers a Lifetime
Warranty on all of their retail video cards and motherboards. The Lifetime Warranty
lasts as long as the purchaser of the video card owns the item purchased. Further,
EVGA supports overclocking the card as long as the card is not physically damaged.
The other component about support in video cards is the ability to call TS.
EVGA has Toll-Free telephone support 24/7 except on holidays.
