I’ve been playing a lot of Act of War: Direct Action lately. Sure there has been a lot of different games released on the PC recently, but RTS (Real Time Strategy) games have been my favorite genre since I started using a computer. Command and Conquer introduced me to the world of fun RTS games and Act of War is another one. I played AOW with 8 players and 1280x1024 resolution on the test system without issue.

Another game I’ve been playing recently was Empire Earth 2. EE2 is the sequel to Sierra’s best-selling game of 2002 Empire Earth. It is set in the same vein of Age of Empires. If you don’t like AOE I would strongly suggest not playing EE2. In any event, this game can be troublesome. I’ve had issues with a S3 GammaChrome video card due to the game not being very stable. On the 6600GT I was able to play the game fully.
