- Onboard sound disabled
- WD 120GB 8MB cache HDD running in ATA100 mode
As I just reviewed the Asus 9600XT and BFG 5700 Ultra, I decided
to include the benchmarks from my last review in this one. It’s interesting
to see performance on two identical video cards (same core, drivers). . As everything
seems equal, the nod to my recommendation will have to go to other factors.
A couple of interesting anomalies occurred during testing, Dronez showed the
5700 Ultras to be way in front, and GunMetal Benchmark exhibited strange performance
on the 5700 Ultras as well, being almost twice as fast as the 9600XT.
