BFG 5700 Ultra

  • Driver CD
  • Power cable splitter
  • DVI-VGA adapter
  • GEFORCE FX and GEFORCE 4 demos

BFG really skimped on their bundle for the 5700 Ultra. They believe, rightly so, that most gamers will already have the games that would be put in the bundle, or that most bundles of game applications cost more than it’s worth. The exception, of course, is with ATI’s Half Life 2 bundle, which is included with every 9600XT, 9800XT, AIW 9600 Pro. This game is one of the most anticipated games that are upcoming. However, HL2 has been delayed, and therefore shouldn’t be much of a factor when considering game bundles.

BFG’s bundle consists of a driver CD containing Dawn and Dusk demos, Vulcan and Ogre demos from the 5800 Ultra’s release and the 5900 release. These demos are beautiful, however, no game I know comes close to the graphics in any of these demos. Also included is NVDVD 2.5.5, which is NVIDIA’s latest standalone DVD player. BFG included a Power cable splitter to make easy installation of the card with an extension of the power connector, and a DVI-VGA adapter to make for easy two monitor configuration for 2 CRT operation.

One extremely nice thing about BFG’s 5700 Ultra, as well as all of their cards, is their warranty and technical support. BFG offers a Lifetime warranty on every card that they sell. If your card develops a defect of material or workmanship during the lifetime of the product when given normal wear and proper usage BFG will repair or replace it.
