XFX uses a slightly modified reference cooler with their GeForce GTS 250 card. The cooling is a 2-slot solution with a cut-out XFX on the front of the card. A hexagonal cut-out on the rear of the card is where the fan lies. The design is pretty cool and distinguishes itself from the reference cooler. The rear of the card is where the 6-pin power connector is connected.

The top of the card has two SLI bridge connectors for SLI. If two cards are installed, a single bridge is used. If three cards are installed, a three-way SLI bridge is used. NVIDIA cards can do three-way SLI or two-way SLI with a third card dedicated to PhysX. The rear of the card has the mounting bracket for the graphics chip, the Serial Number sticker and circuits.

The IO on the card is the standard two DVI-I plus HDTV Out connections found on virtually every video card of the last few years. You can use a HDMI monitor with an adapter or two DVI monitors or two VGA monitors. NVIDIA calls their multi-display functionality on their driver's nView which can be changed on the fly as to the primary monitor etc.
