Of course the first game I wanted to try out on the ZOTAC card was Race Driver GRID, as it was included with the video card packaging. GRID is one of those racing games that make you stop and think what can be better graphically than this? The game offers high quality cars with reflections, weather, and physics effects that cause the car to crash when it hits something. The game plays well on the GTX 285 from ZOTAC with high framerates throughout.

Far Cry 2 is another game that is in the spotlight. This game takes place in an unnamed African country where you try to kill the Jackal. The game uses outstanding visuals including realistic scenery and water throughout. The game is the sequel to one of the first DirectX 8 games and runs extremely well on the ZOTAC GTX 285. Frame rates in the 50s were observed throughout the game with 1920x1200 being almost totally playable. Cryostasis is the latest game to support NVIDIA's PhysX software. The game uses realistic physics to simulate water effects. Water bounces off objects, drips and flows into a stream of water naturally flowing downhill. Snow breaks off when you open a door with icicles hanging on it. Other effects are less or more dramatic throughout the game. The GeForce GTX 285 plays the game extremely well with full frame rate throughout.
