Overall there is nothing to complain about other than the less than brilliant speakers that are almost, but not quite completely inadequate for all but the most meager of sound reproduction. This is really a small product hit as every speaker system I have ever heard embedded into a monitor were just plain pathetic, so this is not a real drawback to the end user. The rest of the things about the monitor are all great, and the monitor shows excellent promise as a product to be seriously considered for all but the most hardcore gamer or graphic artist who may need just a bit better color separation or faster (0/2ms) response times. For about 95% of the people out there, this monitor will fit your needs and your budget because most people fall into this category in any case. The V7 group uses only A grade or better panels in all their monitors and this shows when viewing them.
Just a few years ago premiere size monitors were priced at around $500.00 and that was for a 19" that was then top of the line. Now that same monitor sells for around $160.00, and today you can get the top of the line 22" monitor for under $400.00. The monitor we looked at today, the V7 D22W12 will be selling at right around $250.00, a much more affordable and end user friendly price. Not to mention that 22" LCD screens are currently the latest and hottest selling monitors for the PC environment and usually come with a much higher price tag. Availability for the D22W12 is excellent and the product comes with a three year warranty, which you will probably never use and end up buying a new monitor before the V7 22" fails you in any case. My monitor had no dead pixels and worked great as well as being simple to connect. At the end of the day the quality of the monitor and its price make for a very solid buy one that I can wholeheartedly recommend as it meets or exceeds the requirements needed by most users. Good product V7 group, keep up the good work. I give the D22W12-N6 Gamers Gold as it is well worth looking into and highly affordable, not to mention being highly available on the net.
