The QcK heavy steel Professional Gaming Mouse Pad is made of neoprene rubber and cloth, much like the wetsuits surfers wear to keep warm in chilly waters. The surface has a cloth skin covering the neoprene, which allows for excellent response times from your optical/laser mouse. The pad is about a ¼ inch in its height and is flexible, yet solid enough in its makeup to allow a firm place to rest your wrist. This is by far the biggest real estate taking mouse pad I have yet to see, and actually it’s quite nice to have so much room for your available mouse moving space. Usually, I have to move my mouse back onto the mouse pad when working with Photoshop as I run out of room for my mouse, but with the steelpad QcK PGMP there was plenty of room and replacement of my mouse was not necessary during any of my editing time.

They tout the word gaming mouse pad, but it is really good for professional work such as graphics and drafting as well as gaming. I live in a world where my PC must be able to do anything when I need it to and as efficiently as possible. I game, I edit, I write reviews and I screw around with CAD. The QcK heavy steel PGMP excels in all areas and is one of the most comfortable mouse pads I have used. Gaming was an excellent experience; the mouse pad offers such a large smooth area that you get a comfort zone that is huge and helps with your kill shot accuracy by allowing much improved freedom of mouse movement. The black cloth surface is also dirt repellent and cleans very easily by just brushing it off with another cloth. The mouse glides very smoothly across the surface, but not with such abandon you feel the mouse is slipping out of your grip. This makes for a controlled and very easy work surface, and an accurate and ergonomic gaming surface that will please any user. The only possible drawback to this product is its XXX size, this may bode badly for those with limited available work real estate, but for everyone else this will be a benefit.
