When you use something as much as your mouse on your PC you want some thing that is not only functional, but also comfortable and ergonomic in its design. Logitech has once again scored in all three areas with the MX1000 Laser as it excels across the board. I was very impressed with how well the mouse functioned on plain surfaces such as a wooded desktop or just a plain white counter. In every instance the mouse was able to read the surface and cause no annoying skips or non-reads as seen on many a mice I have played with. You do not even need a mouse-pad to get up and going as any surface will do.

If you are looking to upgrade your mouse to something a little more hip stylish and performance oriented, the MX1000 Laser mouse can certainly fit the bill. The buttons are easily programmable for gaming and the mouse fits very comfortably in the palm of your hand making for a very user oriented product as well. Overall there is nothing to really complain about here, the only thing that did bother me a bit was the fact that you have to go into the mouse properties and change its settings if you want to program the buttons in any way other than their default settings. Connectivity via Bluetooth technology really is functional and I never had any issues with the mouse losing touch with the PC. In the end and overall I have nothing to really complain about with this product as the MX1000 lived up to its expectations in every way. Awesome job here Logitech, a very solid two thumbs up!
