System Requirements

IBM® or compatible PC

• Windows® 98, 2000, Me, XP

• USB or PS/2 port

• CD-ROM drive

Macintosh® PC

• Mac® OS X+

• USB port

• CD-ROM drive

Basically all you need is a Windows PC that has a working USB or PS2 port to use this mouse. Any other OS other than Mr. Gates Microsoft Windows may not recognize the MX1000. Just plug the device into any available USB port the MX1000 should be detected automatically. You can do this either before you start up your system, or after the system has booted into the Windows environment. The mouse will function with or without its drivers installed, but to custom program the buttons you must install the included software provided on the drivers CD. This is an important aspect to gamers who want complete control of their mouse key functions.
