One nice feature of the DeathAdder is the use of Gold Plating on the USB connector on the mouse. The DeathAdder has a nice long 7 foot cord. It is unlikely that you will need a longer cord for a wired mouse. Razer says the mouse cord is tangle-free but the cord can tangle if overused. Razer put some thought into every facet of this mouse.

The front of the mouse is shaped like a snake’s head. The top two buttons are flush with the mouse, with no discernible button except when you push the area where the mouse button would be and hear and feel a click. The scroll wheel is ribbed and lights up when the mouse is in operation. The left side of the mouse has two Windows buttons that can be programmed to do anything the other buttons on the mouse can.

The bottom of the DeathAdder mouse has three feet, two on the top of the bottom and one on the bottom. The feet are plastic with a good feel to them. The middle of the mouse has the Infrared sensor. To the right of the sensor is a button. Below the sensor is the name of the mouse along with the Model Number, Product Number, Rating and Serial Number.
