Overall Gigabyte did an excellent job here with the GM-M8000 Laser Gaming Mouse, as it has all the features and comfort one would expect from a high-end product for playing their games with maximum efficiency. The feel of the mouse in my hand is very comfortable and I have big hands and its buttons are positioned in an ergonomic way as to not wear out your hands after hours of usage. Until now the Logitech G5 was my favorite mouse, but now it’s a toss-up as the M8000 really does excel in gaming and for just your daily working as well making have a broad appeal even to the non gamer. Cordless mice do not have the accuracy of a corded mouse, but the cord on the M8000 is very long in any case.

At first I kind of scoffed at the software, but it does give the mouse more control features and pre-programmable options not available in its plug and play state. I am sure there are other users who will appreciate and use this feature more than I did. I usually bang away at my RTS games and a few FPS titles and I just do not need that much flexibility in programming the buttons as I use Hot-Keys on my keyboard. I am more interested in how well the head shots accuracy is and how responsive is the mouse when moving my character around. The Gigabyte GM-M8000 is one of the best and most accurate gaming mice I have used yet; it easily competes with any of the better known companies products in the gaming arena and thank God it’s not just another crappy Fatality branded product. This is a solid Gamers Gold product and can be found online for about $50.00 US.
