This FPS is based on the comic book published by Top Cow Productions. It’s an independent comic, so it’s much more brutal and raw then others, and that kind of mentality carries over to the game. With a Mature rating this game has lots and lots of blood and gore, drug, intense violence, and very strong language. I have to admit being a fan of the comics for many years; I’m looking forward to this game. The comic takes place in modern times but covers lots of ground, from different earth bound location, hell, dream worlds, and all a crossed time. There is lots of source material, so I’m hoping for a deep story and fast paced game play. Starbreeze is the company that made The Darkness, they also made The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay. Riddick was a critical acclaimed game that sold well, so my expectations are high.
