Earth Defense Force 2017 is a futuristic third person shooter that comes to us from Japan. It shares some of the same intriguing qualities like many of the monster movies also bestowed upon us by our eastern friends. This is the third installment of this series, but the first to become so popular in the US. Will Earth Defense Force 2017 become one of our favorite new releases, or is it doomed to share shelf space with its B-movie counterparts?
