From the opening cut scenes, which everyone has seen on the TV commercial, to the in game replays and the incrediable details that have been added to almost every aspect of this game, most users will definitely love the graphics of this game.One of my favorite things to do is to go full speed, slide around corner and hit a wall. This is actually represented on screen. The screen blurs for a couple seconds, or longer depending on hard you hit the wall. This gives you that uh collision feeling of being in the car. The controller vibrates, and it is like you have just been in the car as it happens. This added a more realistic feel to the game and will actually cause you to be a better driver in the game.

Even if another car hits you and spins you out, the feeling of being right there in the car as it happens is unbelievable and is one of the best aspects to this game. NFS Shift really immerses the gamer into the actual feeling of driving and racing with the collision detection that is absolutely perfect. Watch the drivers ahead of you as they spin out or slide around the corner. Watch the plumes of smoke as they come off the tires.Of course you will still be able to hit the areas of the track that will take you completely out of the game or race. Added now are devious areas of the surrounding tracks. Before you could run into most tires and barracades and drive right thru them. In NFS Shift, be carefully as you never know what construction worker left a pillar of concrete behind those hay bails.

Sound is superb as it travels in surround around you. Here that car on the left, no wait he’s going right . Listen as you smash your way through two cars and hear the one slide out of control and flip into the wall. The sound tracks are good and the screech of the tires really let you know if you need to slow down or not.Collisions sound like they took actual track collision audio instead of creating it in a studio. Props to the sound department and graphics teams at EA that worked on this game. It is one of the best games I have played this year as for as accuracy of sound and it still comes through with nice HD graphics.
