A couple days ago the neighbors right across the street were victims of something that could have been taken right out of GTA; they were robbed at gunpoint right in front of their house by a thug on a bike with a gun and a ski mask.

Has anger and failure really clouded humanity's mind this much? Has mankind become a cesspool of inbreeding and moral failure to the point that we are no longer in control of our own morality and destiny? Have we abandoned accountability altogether? Is blaming politics, society or other human beings all that we are capable of? Are we really this desperate for a free dollar?

Overpopulation, the economy, society, our peers, video games, movies, our family and the lack of moral fibers are just a few examples of blame. But does blaming others really excuse our behavior? Should we blame games like Grand Theft Auto for the decay of society? Personally, I think that we should embrace games like Grand Theft Auto and I think that everyone should play the latest expansion pack - The Lost and Damned. Every minute that a somebody performs an act of violence in this game is a possible minute that a someone else lives without violence. Every time someone takes out their anger through this game it gives a moment of peace to someone else. And, unless one is absolutely insane, one knows the difference between electronic entertainment and reality. As humans, we all have our bad days and I strongly believe that humans have to release that build-up anger in one way or another. I'd rather see someone release that anger in the latest GTA expansion instead on my family or my neighbors. And if we really have gotten to the point where we can not differentiate between entertainment and reality, then I blame every single one of us. It is time to stop pointing fingers and it is time to be accountable for our own actions once again.

Addendum

Due to my own version of morality I feel obligated to add this addendum at the end of the GTA IV expansion pack review - The Lost and Damned. I continued playing the game after I was done writing the initial version of the review and I was unaware of one major thing. The graphics of The Lost and Damned do include full frontal male nudity. Since this is the first game that has done that (to the best of my knowledge) I do feel obligated to include this information in the review.
