There are a few ways to play multiplayer. Well, actually, there's quite a bit to do, but I'm only going to cover the basics
here, half the fun is finding out what there is.
For starters this game actually uses the Nintendo Wi-Fi ability. This has its ups and downs. On the down side, it can sometimes
be hard to play a match without having any friends online.
But, on the plus side, you can add friends to you list and always have people willing to play against you. You can even specify
if you wish to allow outside players into the match or not, so private matches over the internet are very possible.
The sure fire way to have people to play with, however, is to call up 3 friends and tell them to come over. Then you've got a
night of fun and lighthearted trash talking with one another. My friends and I have spent a few nights in my den playing until
almost dawn, just exploring the stages and different modes and rules for multiplayer. This game can make a great party game as
well, for those of you not wanting to fork over almost $200 for a Rock Band set.
