When most people thing of baseball they think of America, of freedom; hotdogs, beer and nachos; family, fun and togetherness.

Other people, including some of my friends and even my boss, find baseball unbelievably boring. I find myself stuck somewhere in the middle. I love playing baseball, I love going to the games, but what I can not stand is watching baseball on television. I find that part boring.

Not having a single sporting game for my PSP (not including racing games; that I got surplus) I decided to use my favorite clich‚ and kill two birds with one stone. So this is how I ended up with Sony's latest PSP release: MLB 08: The Show. The last time I played a baseball game I was not that impressed, but that was years ago. With all the hype about this game I'm really curious if there's something to MLB 08: The Show or if its just publicity pushed by a clever marketing campaign. By the time I get through this review, y'all should have accurate information and know weather this game is really "the most authentic baseball game ever released." Now it's time for me to put down the keyboard and pick up my PSP.
