Singleplayer only offers two modes of play: quick-play and career; do not let that fact fool you, the game is actually filled with gaming
content.
Once the quick-play option is selected, two sub-options appear, grip and speed. Grip offers two more race types: circuit and lap knockout.
The speed sub-category offers four types of races: time attack, speed trap, gate knockout, and sprint. Honestly, the only reason you would
want to be in quick-play mode is to race on a specific track. Most of NFS Pro Street's action revolves around the career mode.
As I have mentioned earlier, career mode is what this game is all about anyways. If you play this game long enough, eventually, your garage
will be filled with dozens of cars from several different categories such as tuner, muscle, sports, and super. Some of the manufacturers
include Lamborghini, BMW, Acura, Ford, Mitsubishi and many others. Three levels of difficulty, each with different reward values, allows for
beginners as well as advanced racers to have a good time. The game also offers a large variety of locations to race, and each location has
multiple variations. Therefore, if you are stuck in some airport waiting for a delayed flight, this game can make time go by faster.
