Final Fantasy Tactics - The War of the Lions has many up and just as many downs. If you're a fan of the Final Fantasy series, then it automatically makes this game a good buy. If you don't care much about sound and graphics but you love role playing games, then this is a good buy. If you love turn-based strategy games, then once again, this is a good buy. If you have a lot of time on your hands, then FF Tactics is a must, but...

As I've mentioned earlier in the review, Final Fantasy Tactics for the PSP is actually an almost 10 year old remake of the same game for the PS. If you already have the game then you may want to reconsider buying it again. Not that much new content is added. Also, if you love modern graphics or awesome soundtracks to your video games, then FF Tactics is not for you. Another problem for some may be finding the time necessary to play this game. If you push through the game at a fast rate, around 50 hours are still necessary. Overall, Final Fantasy Tactics - The War of the Lions is a good game that is Simple in graphics and sound, but extremely rich in content, gameplay, storyline and fun. It has a way of drawing you in. The more you play the more you want to. I know I do.
