A gaming company going broke, people's jobs on the line, one last possible game in the making ... a final fantasy ...

What might have been Squaresoft's last project actually turned out to be their launching product ... their big hit; it was Final Fantasy. And this "final fantasy" turned Squaresoft into a gaming giant.

A while back, Squaresoft merged with another company, Enix. For those as old as me, you might remember the game series Dragon Warrior. It was another role- playing game very popular on the NES. Squaresoft and Enix merged, and out of that merger a new classic was born - Final Fantasy Tactics.

The Final Fantasy series has been around for over twenty years. They lasted the test of time and with good reasons, the main factor simply being the fact that most of the Final Fantasy games have been extremely well made and fun to play. While Final Fantasy Tactics - The War of the Lions is not a new game per say, it is new to the PSP world. The questions that we must ask ourselves are (1) Can Final Fantasy Tactics compete in today's market? (2) If I already have Final Fantasy Tactics for the PS is it worth buying it again? And for newcomers to the series the question are Will I enjoy this game? Hopefully all these questions and many more will be answered in the paragraphs bellow.
